Recombinant Mouse OSMR Protein (His Tag)

Biological Activity :

Background :
Oncostatin-M specific receptor subunit beta also known as the oncostatin M receptor (OSMR) and Interleukin-31 receptor subunit beta (IL-31RB), is one of the receptor proteins for oncostatin M. OSMR is a member of the type I cytokine receptor family. IL-31RB/OSMR heterodimerizes with interleukin 6 signal transducer to form the type II oncostatin M receptor and with interleukin 31 receptor A to form the interleukin 31 receptor, and thus transduces oncostatin M and interleukin 31 induced signaling events. Mutations in IL-31RB/OSMR have been associated with familial primary localized cutaneous amyloidosis. Defects in IL-31RB/OSMR are the cause of amyloidosis primary localized cutaneous type 1 (PLCA1), also known as familial lichen amyloidosis of familial cutaneous lichen amyloidosis. PLCA1 is hereditary primary amyloidosis characterized by localized cutaneous amyloid deposition. This condition usually presents with itching (especially on the lower legs) and visible changes of skin hyperpigmentation and thickening (lichenification) that may be exacerbated by chronic scratching and rubbing. The amyloid deposits probably reflect a combination of degenerate keratin filaments, serum amyloid P component, and deposition of immunoglobulins.

Recombinant Mouse Her2/ERBB2 Protein (ECD, hFc Tag), HPLC-verified

Biological Activity :

Background :
Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), also known as ErbB2, NEU, and CD340, is a type I membrane glycoprotein and belongs to the epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor family. HER2 protein cannot bind growth factors due to the lacking of ligand binding domain of its own and autoinhibited constitutively. However, HER2 forms a heterodimer with other ligand-bound EGF receptor family members, therefore stabilizes ligand binding and enhances kinase-mediated activation of downstream molecules. HER2 plays a key role in development, cell proliferation and differentiation. Name :
Recombinant Cynomolgus Lymphotoxin-beta receptor/TNFRSF3 Protein (hFc Tag)

Biological Activity :

Background :
LTBR (lymphotoxin beta receptor (TNFR superfamily, member 3)) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family of receptors. The tumor necrosis factor receptor is a trimeric cytokine receptor that binds tumor necrosis factors. The receptor cooperates with an adaptor protein (such as TRADD, TRAF, RIP), which is important in determining the outcome of the response. LTBR is expressed on the surface of most cell types, including cells of epithelial and myeloid lineages, but not on T and B lymphocytes. LTBR specifically binds the lymphotoxin membrane form (a complex of lymphotoxin-alpha and lymphotoxin-beta). LTBR and its ligand play a role in the development and organization of lymphoid tissue and transformed cells. Activation of this protein can trigger apoptosis. Not only does the LTBR help trigger apoptosis, but it can also lead to the release of the cytokine interleukin 8. Overexpression of LTBR in HEK293 cells increases IL-8 promoter activity and leads to IL-8 release. It is also essential for the development and organization of the secondary lymphoid organs and chemokine release.

Recombinant Cynomolgus, Rhesus IL-23 Receptor Protein (hFc Tag)

Biological Activity :

Background :
IL23R, also known as the IL23 receptor, belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family, Type 2 subfamily. It contains 2 fibronectin type-III domains and is expressed by monocytes, Th1, Th0, NK, and dendritic cells. Isoform 1 is specifically expressed in NK cells. IL23R associates with IL12RB1 to form the interleukin-23 receptor. It binds IL23 and mediates T-cells, NK cells, and possibly certain macrophage/myeloid cell stimulation probably through activation of the Jak-Stat signaling cascade. IL23 functions in innate and adaptive immunity and may participate in acute response to infection in peripheral tissues. IL23 may be responsible for autoimmune inflammatory diseases and be important for tumorigenesis. Genetic variations in IL23R are associated with inflammatory bowel disease type 17 (IBD17). IBD17 is a chronic, relapsing inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract with a complex etiology. Genetic variations in IL23R also can cause susceptibility to psoriasis type 7.

Name :
Influenza B (B/Utah/02/2012) Hemagglutinin / HA1 Protein (His Tag)

Biological Activity :

Background :
The influenza viral Hemagglutinin (HA) protein is a homotrimer with a receptor binding pocket on the globular head of each monomer.HA has at least 18 different antigens. These subtypes are named H1 through H18.HA has two functions. Firstly, it allows the recognition of target vertebrate cells, accomplished through the binding to these cells’ sialic acid-containing receptors. Secondly, once bound it facilitates the entry of the viral genome into the target cells by causing the fusion of the host endosomal membrane with the viral membrane. The influenza virus Hemagglutinin (HA) protein is translated in cells as a single protein, HA, or hemagglutinin precursor protein. For viral activation, hemagglutinin precursor protein (HA) must be cleaved by a trypsin-like serine endoprotease at a specific site, normally coded for by a single basic amino acid (usually arginine) between the HA1 and HA2 domains of the protein. After cleavage, the two disulfide-bonded protein domains produce the mature form of the protein subunits as a prerequisite for the conformational change necessary for fusion and hence viral infectivity.

Name :
VCAM-1 Protein

Description :
Vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM-1), also known as CD106, is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. Two forms of VCAM-1 with either six or seven extracellular Ig-like domains are generated by alternative splicing, with the longer form predominant. VCAM-1 is an endothelial ligand for very late antigen-4 (VLA-4) and α4ß7 integrin expressed on leukocytes, and thus mediates leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction. VCAM-1 expression is induced on endothelial cells during inflammatory bowel disease, atherosclerosis, allograft rejection, infection, and asthmatic responses. During these responses, VCAM-1 forms a scaffold for leukocyte migration. VCAM-1 also activates signals within endothelial cells resulting in the opening of an “endothelial cell gate” through which leukocytes migrate. VCAM-1 has been identified as a potential anti-inflammatory therapeutic target, the hypothesis being that reduced expression of VCAM-1 will slow the development of atherosclerosis. In addition, VCAM-1-activated signals in endothelial cells are regulated by cytokines indicating that it is important to consider both endothelial cell adhesion molecule expression and function during inflammatory processes.Cancer ImmunotherapyImmune CheckpointImmunotherapyTargeted Therapy

TWSG1 Protein

Description :
Twisted Gastrulation Protein Homolog 1 (TWSG1) is a 22 kDa secreted protein that belongs to the twisted gastrulation protein family. Human TWSG1 is synthesized as a 223 aa precursor that contains a 25 aa signal peptide and a 198 aa mature chain. TWSG1 may be involved in dorsoventral axis formation. TWSG1 seems to antagonize BMP signaling by forming ternary complexes with CHRD and BMPs, thereby preventing BMPs from binding to their receptors.TWSG1 can inhibit BMP activity by binding directly to BMP proteins, and can act the anti-BMP function, partly mediated by cleavage and degradation of CHRD, which releases BMPs from ternary complexes. TWSG1 may be an important modulator of BMP-regulated cartilage development, chondrocyte differentiation and thymocyte development.

Name :
TREM-1 Protein

Description :
TREM1 (triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells) is a type I transmembrane protein with a single Ig-like domain, and is selectively expressed on blood neutrophils and a subset of monocytes. As a member of the growing family of receptors related to NK cell receptors, TREM1 activates downstream signaling events with the help of an adapter protein called DAP12. Expression of TREM1 is up-regulated by bacterial LPS, a ligand for TLR4, as well as lipoteichoic acid. Although its natural ligand has not been identified, engagement of TREM1 with agonist mAbs triggers secretion of the proinflammatory cytokines TNF-α and IL-1β, as well as chemokines such as IL-8 and monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP)-1. Intracellularly, TREM1 induces Ca2+ mobilization and tyrosine phosphorylation of extracellular signal-related kinase 1 (ERK1), ERK2 and phospholipase C-γ. In an animal model of LPS-induced septic shock, blockade of TREM1 signaling inhibited hyperresponsiveness and death. Thus, it has been demonstrated that TREM1 performs a critical function in immune responses involved in host defense against microbial challenges, and is suggested to be a potential therapeutic target for septic shock.
